It has been quite some time since LEGO released a major D2C set for DC fans, but that is about to change soon. On June 5th, the LEGO DC 76252 Batman – Batcave will be launched, and the first images of the set have just been leaked. This model consists of 3,981 bricks and reportedly has a recommended retail price of $/€449.99 in the LEGO Shop. Update → LEGO DC 76252 Batcave – Shadowbox officially revealed LEGO DC 76252 Batman – Batcave The detailed interior will actually be built inside a cave, making the set highly suitable as a display model, unlike the previously released LEGO DC 76052 Batman Classic TV Series – Batcave. The set will at least come with minifigures of Penguin, Alfred Pennyworth, and Bruce Wayne with two Batman suits, while there are also rumors circulating about Max Shreck and Catwoman. The structure can best be described as a box with the Batman emblem as a cutout where you can look inside to see the Batcave interior. Builders can also open the box like a book to fully reveal the interior. In the center, there is a platform for the Batmobile. The structure is approximately 11.4 inches tall (29 cm) and 20.1 inches (51 cm) wide. Additionally, the Batcave features various functions.
