Glenglassaugh Rare Cask Release is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenglassaugh distillery in the Highlands of Scotland. This 10 year old whisky has been aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and bottled at a cask strength of 112 proof. The whisky has a deep golden color and a nose of sweet honey, toasted oak, and dried fruit. On the palate, there are notes of dried apricot, toasted almonds, and a hint of smoke. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of spice.
