Hersheypark unveils plans for Wildcat's Revenge, a hybrid roller coaster with a wooden frame and steel track

Hersheypark has unveiled plans for Wildcat's Revenge, a hybrid roller coaster that will upgrade the existing Wildcat ride. When it opens in 2023, the new roller coaster will have a steel track added to the wooden frame. It will include a 140-foot hill that will send riders plunging at an 82-degree angle, reaching a top speed of 62 mph. The new coaster also will have four inversions, including what the parks calls the world's largest underlip.
